WARNING
Injury Hazard: The weight
of the crosshead pin is
4830 kg. Use only
approved equipment and
sufficient personnel to lift
and move the crosshead
pin.
6) Attach the spur-geared chain block
(94017-040, Fig. 23) to the eye bolt on
the lifting tool (94324).
7) Move the crosshead pin direction door
frame and attach the spur-geared chain
block (94017-040) to the lifting device
(94324).
8) Take the load of the crosshead pin on
the spur-geared chain block
(94017-040).
9) Attach the spur-geared chain block
(94017-051) to the lifting device
(94324) on the crosshead pin.
Note: When you do the step 10) keep
tension on the spur-geared chain
block (94017-040) and on
(94017-051).
10) Move the crosshead pin (3, Fig. 24)
through the door frame as follows:
a) Tighten the spur-geared chain
block (94017-051). At the same
time, carefully loosen the manual
ratchet (94016-015) that is
attached to the gallery.
11) Remove the spur-geared chain block
(94017-047).
12) Turn the crosshead pin 90° .
13) Remove the protection tool (94117B,
Fig. 23) from the door frame.
14) Lower and align the guide shoe (2, Fig.
25) with the crosshead pin (3).
15) Attach the two eye bolts (94045−M20)
and the chain (94325) to the crosshead
pin (3).
16) Attach the eye bolt (94045−M56,
Fig.23) to an applicable position on the
column.
17) Attach the manual ratchet (94016−015)
to the eye bolt (94045−M56) and the
chain (94325).
18) Use the manual ratchet (94016−015) to
pull the crosshead pin (3) into the guide
shoe (2).
19) Remove the chain (94325), eye bolts
(94045−M20, 94045−M56) and manual
ratchet (94016−015).
