4. Guide shoes −
Installation
Note: When you the steps below, make
sure that you install the guide
shoes in their original positions.
1) Attach the spur-geared chain block
(94017−047, Fig. 22) to the eye bolt on
the guide shoe.
Note: When you steps 3) to 5) keep the
tension on the manual ratchet
(94016-015) and the chain of the
spur-geared chain block
(94017-40).
2) Move the guide shoe (1) through the
door frame as follows:
a) Attach the spur-geared chain
block (94017−040) to the eye bolt
on the guide shoe.
b) Tighten the chain of the
spur-geared chain blocks
(94017−040). At the same time,
carefully loosen the manual
ratchet that is attached to the
gallery.
3) Attach the chain of the spur−geared
chain block (94017-051) to the guide
shoe (1 or 2).
4) Use the spur geared chain block
(94017-051) to lift the guide shoe (1 or
2).
5) Remove the (94017-047) the manual
ratchet (94016−015) from the guide
shoe (1 or 2).
6) Do step 1) to step 6)for the other guide
shoe.
5. Crosshead Pin −
Installation
1) Clean the crosshead pin and the guide
and bearing surfaces.
2) Apply bearing oil to the crosshead pin
and all guide and bearing surfaces.
3) Make sure that the surfaces of the
crosshead pin are clean and have no
damage.
4) Attach the chain block (94017-047,
Fig.23) and (94017−040) to the eye bolt
on the lifting tool (94324) on the
crosshead pin (1).
5) Keep tension on the spur-geared chain
block (94017-047) and the chain block
(94017-040).
