5.2 Pump No. 1
CAUTION
Injury Hazard: The weight
of the servo oil pump is
230 kg. Make sure that you
use the correct equipment
to lift the servo oil pump.
This will prevent injury to
personnel.
1) Make sure that the surfaces of the
servo oil pump and the casing are
clean and have no damage.
2) Put a new O-ring (1, Fig. 9) in the pump
support (2).
3) Apply a small quantity of oil to the the
O-rings (1).
4) Attach the lifting tool (94651) to the
spur-geared chain block (2, Fig. 10).
5) Put two slings (94039−002) around the
servo oil pump No. 1.
6) Attach the slings to the two shackles of
lifting tool (94651).
7) Lift the servo oil pump a little.
8) Attach spur-geared chain block (1) to
the lifting tool (94651) and carefully
move the servo oil pump to the
applicable position.
9) To move the servo oil pump intor the
supply unit, increase the tension of the
spur-geared chain block (1)gradually.
At the same time, decrease the tension
of the spur-geared chain block (2).
10) Attach the servo oil pump (3) to the
casing with the four nuts (4).
11) Remove all tools.
