CAUTION
Damage Hazard: Make sure
that you do not damage
the sealing faces (SF) or
the HP fuel pipe. Do not
apply lateral force to the
HP fuel pipe and the
flanges.
CAUTION
Injury Hazard: The weight
of the HP fuel pipe is
approximately 32 kg. Use
approved equipment or
sufficient personnel to lift
and move the HP fuel pipe.
7) Carefully put the HP fuel pipe (4,
Fig. 15) in the connecting block (1) and
the fuel pump cover (7).
8) Torque the screws (3 and 5) as follows:
a) Torque symmetrically the four
screws (3 and 5) to 30 Nm.
b) Make sure that the flanges (2
and 6) are not tilted and in the
correct position.
c) Torque symmetrically the four
screws (3 and 5) to 55 Nm.
d) Torque symmetrically the four
screws (3 and 5) to 80 Nm.
9) Make sure that there is a distance of
36.5 mm between the flange (1) and
the connecting block (2).
10) Make sure that there is a distance of
36.5 mm between the flange (6) and
the fuel pump cover (7).
