1 Remove the imaging unit.
2 Push either side of the transfer
roller, and then check if it
depresses and bounces back
into place.
3 If the transfer roller does not
depress and bounce back into
place, then reinstall the
transfer roller.
4 Firmly shake the toner
cartridge to redistribute the
toner, and then insert it.
5 Turn off the printer, wait for 10
seconds, and then turn on the
printer.
Does the problem remain?
Go to step 7. The problem is solved.

1 Make sure that the transfer
roller is properly installed.
2 Check the transfer roller for
contamination and damage.
Is the transfer roller free of
contamination and damage?
Go to step 9. Go to step 8.

Reinstall or replace the transfer
