General Troubleshooting
Introduction
This chapter covers troubleshooting procedures not associated with a Service Call
code or Control Panel error message.
For troubleshooting problems associated with a Service Call code or Control Panel
error message, refer to “Error Messages and Codes” on page 3-1. Print-quality
problems are covered in “Print-Quality Problems Overview” on page 5-2.
Probable causes of trouble are that the printer, computer, server or other
hardware is not correctly set for the network environment you are using, or a
printer restriction has been exceeded.
