1 ETV Opens and closes the throttle valve using an electric motor.

Intake air pressure/tempera-
ture sensor
Detects the intake air temperature and intake air pressure.
3 Pulser coil
Detects the engine speed.
Detects the crankshaft angle and piston positions.
Determines each group of cylinders (#1 and #4, #2 and #5, and
#3 and #6).
4 Engine temperature sensor Detects the engine temperature.
5 Vapor shut-off valve
Controls the amount of vapor gas to be sent from the vapor sep-
arator to the intake system.
6 Thermo sensor (PORT)
Detects water temperature.
7 Thermo sensor (STBD)
8 OCV (PORT) Advances or retards the intake camshaft timing by switching the
oil passages through which the engine oil is sent into the ad-
vance chamber or the retard chamber in the rotor vane housing.

Cam position sensor (PORT
IN)
Detects the advance angle on the intake camshaft.

12 Fuel injector (PORT)
Injects fuel.
13 Fuel injector (STBD)
14 High-pressure fuel pump Pressurizes the fuel and sends the fuel to the fuel rail.
15 Low-pressure fuel pump Sends the fuel from the fuel tank to the vapor separator.
16 TPS (TPS 1, TPS 2)
Detects the throttle valve opening angle. TPS 1 is the main sen-
sor and TPS 2 is the sub sensor. TPS 1 and TPS 2 mutually
monitor each other for malfunctions.
17 Shift actuator
The boat direction is shifted between forward, neutral, and re-
verse based on the signal from the engine ECM.
18 SPS (SPS 1, SPS 2)
Detect the shift position. SPS 1 is the main sensor and SPS 2
is the sub sensor. SPS 1 and SPS 2 mutually monitor each oth-
er for malfunctions.
19 Oil pressure sensor Detects the oil pressure.
20 PTT buzzer
To prevent danger, the PTT buzzer (power unit part) sounds to
warn to the surrounding when the PTT TotalTilt™ function is op-
erating.
21 Ignition coil (STBD)
Produces high voltage to ignite a spark plug.
22 Ignition coil (PORT)
23 Knock sensor Detects engine knocking.
