Resetting a password
If a user/touch panel user has forgotten their password, the administrator can reset it.
Path: App overview > User management
1. Navigate to the path.
ÜThe User management view is displayed.
2. Tap the pencil icon next to the user for whom the password is to be reset.
ÜThe Edit user view is displayed.
3. Tap the Reset password button.
ÜThe Reset password view is displayed.
4. Enter a new one-time password.
– or –
4. Tap the button to automatically generate a one-time password.
5. Tap the Reset password button.
6. Tap the Copy and close button to save the one-time password to the clipboard
and close the view.
– or –
6. Tap the Cancel button.
ÜThe password is reset.
ÜThe Edit user view is displayed.
7. Tap the icon.
ÜThe User management view is displayed.
8. Tap this button to access the app overview.
Note
After the password has been reset, the user/touch panel user has to go through the first-time login
process again.
