Powering the phone
The Aastra 5360, Aastra 5361 Aastra 5370 and Aastra 5380 system phones are nor-
mally powered via the DSI bus. However there are several reasons that require pow-
ering with a plug-in power supply:
• Long line
• 2 phones on the same bus
• 1 or more expansion key modules on the phone
• Terminal power supply of the communication server is overloaded
Only use the corresponding plug-in power supply unit with FCC connector availa-
ble as an option. It is connected either to the phone itself or, when using one or
more expansion key modules, on the last expansion key module.
