5.4.6 Communication Method
The 6253 uses TCP/IP to communicate with a computer. The TCP/IP communication is performed
according to the following procedure:
1. After turning ON, the 6253 waits for the computer sending a TCP/IP connection request with the
specified port number (refer to Table 5-4.)
2. The computer sends the TCP/IP connection request to the 6253.
3. The 6253 accepts the TCP/IP connection request to establish the connection.
4. After the connection establishment, the communication is performed by sending or receiving simple
7-bit ASCII codes.
5. The computer sends commands or queries to the 6253.
The command or query messages are characters that end with CR+LF or LF.
6. The 6253 receives, interrupts and executes the commands or queries. When these queries are received
correctly, it returns response messages.
The response messages are characters with delimiters added.
Only single personal computer is connectable to the 6253.
Note for Using LAN
When sending a query command, be sure to read it out without fail.
