5.5.3 Specifications
The specifications of RS-232 are shown below.
The RS-232 connector on the rear panel is a 9-pin connector (DB-9, male).
The transmit data (TxD) checks the status of the data set ready (DSR) inside the 6253. If the data set ready
(DSR) is false, data output is interrupted. When it is true, data is output.
CAUTION: Flow control by X parameters (XON/XOFF) is not available on the 6253.
5.5.4 Setting RS-232
Set I/F BUS on the interface menu to “RS232.”
The RS232 Config settings such as baud rate, data bit, parity bit and stop bit should be made.
