8.6.1 How to Calculate Accuracy for Current Source, Current Measurement
and Current Limit
Example) Calculating the accuracy in current source of 3 mA (3 mA range) with resistance of 1 k
connected
The accuracy formula in the current source range of 3 mA is as follows:
The output voltage Vo is 3V. Therefore,
Accuracy = (% of setting + A + A Vo / 1 V )
= (3 mA0.025 % + 350 nA + 30 nA3 V / 1 V)
= 1.19 A
Thus, the accuracy in current source of 3 mA (3 mA range) is specified between 2.99881 mA to 3.00119 mA.
NOTE: Vo in the 1-day stability, current limit and temperature coefficient for current source
all indicates voltage between output terminals.
