TapeStation Controller Software User Interface
The TapeStation Controller software user interface consists of following items.

• The central ScreenTape image displays the assay selected based on the
ScreenTape barcode. For partially used ScreenTape devices, lanes used in
earlier runs are dark gray whereas unused lanes are light gray.
• The information field reports the name of the user logged on to the system.
It allows you to enter study-related notes and change the file name prefix.
For general file save settings, see the setting dialogue (see “TapeStation
Controller Software Settings” on page 55)
• Sample locations on Sample tube strips can only be selected once a
ScreenTape device is inserted. Up to 16 samples can then be selected by
clicking and dragging across the tube strip. When samples are selected, the
sample table populates the corresponding lines to allow you to enter sample
descriptions.
• Sample tube strip functions, accessible by clicking onto '...', will allow you to
select or clear all position and to decide if a run ladder or an electronic
ladder is used. Table functions allow you to import or export sample
descriptions or to clear the table.
