gripper axis: the direction describing the vertical (up and down)
movement of the tray’s vial gripper, sometimes called the z-axis. The tray
combines movement along the zeta axis and the theta axis to pick up and drop
off vials to specific locations on the tray or injector turret. See also home

ghost peaks: small peaks that usually indicate that contamination is entering
the system.
