5.4 Seeding with Flex seed metering wheels
For the gentle seeding of large seeds, e.g. peas
and field beans, the flexible Flex seed metering
wheels are used (see section "Seeding tables",
page 107).
To prevent damage to the Flex seed metering
wheels, the air plate (1) must be removed. The
air plate is attached with 4 Torx screws M6x12
(TX30).
5.5 Fill the seed hopper
The seed hopper cover (1) has a threaded seal.
1. Switch off the control terminal.
2. Open the seed hopper cover and slowly fill
the seed hopper. Do not exceed the nomi-
nal volume.
3. Screw on the seed hopper cover so that the
seed hopper is closed air-tight.
