“Modifications Required” messages are provided to guide the user through the treatment and to
prompt the user to take the recommended action to confirm and correct the settings. However,
if the system displays any of “Critical Error” codes during normal operation, contact
OPTIMEDICA Service to correct and resolve the problem.
5.6 Calibration Disclaimer
Calibration of the CATALYS® System is a service procedure to be performed only by
OPTIMEDICA-certified personnel or customers who have taken and passed an OPTIMEDICA
Service Certification Training course on the CATALYS® System. Adjustment by anyone other than
OPTIMEDICA-certified personnel or certified customers voids any existing manufacturer’s
warranty on the instrument and can result in serious personal injury.
