Control Pendant Faults
The control pendant icons and buttons flash to indicate various fault conditions.

Fault Probable Cause Suggestion
Pivot lock, caster lock, and
directional lock buttons are
blinking
Caster error Press the reset button on the base of the bed,
and then calibrate the bed by pressing and
holding the home button until the bed stops
moving (approximately 30 seconds).
Pivot lock, caster lock, and
directional lock buttons are
not functioning as expected
Caster error Verify that you have pressed the appropriate
button(s) for the desired caster lock mode. If
this does not fix the issue, press the reset but-
ton on the base of the bed, and then calibrate
the bed by pressing and holding the home but-
ton until the bed stops moving (approximately
30 seconds).
Footrest, backrest, seat, and
column buttons are blinking
Emergency stop button
pressed
Rotate the button clockwise to reset.
General error Press the reset button on the base of the bed,
and then calibrate the bed by pressing and
holding the home button until the bed stops
moving (approximately 30 seconds).
Connect button is blinking
slowly
System is attempting to estab-
lish Bluetooth connection
between Mobile Patient Bed
and CATALYS® System
Wait for the Bluetooth connection to be estab-
lished (button no longer flashes but is still illu-
minated).
Connect button is blinking
rapidly
Bluetooth connection
between Mobile Patient Bed
and CATALYS® System has
failed
The system automatically attempts to recon-
nect. If automatic reconnection is unsuccessful,
press the connect button to reconnect.
Battery status icon is blinking
green
Battery power is low Connect the Mobile Patient Bed to an AC power
source after completing the current treatment.
Battery status icon is blinking
red
Battery power is critically low Connect the Mobile Patient Bed to an AC power
source immediately to prevent power loss.
Battery status icon is solid
red
Zero battery power Connect the Mobile Patient Bed to an AC power
source to recharge.
