Replacing the Fuses
The Mobile Patient Bed uses two 250V, SB, 3.15A fuses. If necessary, the fuses can be replaced
as follows:
1. Locate the fuse holder under the main power receptacle on the base of the Mobile
Patient Bed.
2. Insert a flathead screwdriver or other flat object into the notch at the top of the fuse
holder, and gently pry open the fuse holder.

3. Pull out the fuse holder.

4. Remove the old fuses and replace with new ones.
5. Reinsert the fuse holder, ensuring that the notch is at the top, until the holder snaps into
place.
WARNINGS
Fuses must be replaced with the same fuse rating as described above. Failure to use the proper
fuses can result in damage to the Mobile Patient Bed.
Fuses must be replaced by a properly trained Biomedical Technician/Certified Service Personnel
or OPTIMEDICA Service Personnel.
3.2 Annual System Maintenance
The Mobile Patient Bed requires regular maintenance to provide optimum performance.
OPTIMEDICA recommends annual system maintenance for the Mobile Patient Bed. System
maintenance must be completed by trained OPTIMEDICA Service Personnel. There are no user
service adjustments on the Mobile Patient Bed. Contact OPTIMEDICA Service for system service
and repair.
