the control pendant buttons blink; and/or an error message displays on the CATALYS® System
touchscreen.

Device System Wireless Functions, Capabilities, and Limitations
The CATALYS® Mobile Patient Bed (MPB) wirelessly and uniquely connects to a CATALYS® System
to allow the CATALYS® System the ability to enable and disable control features (joystick, pendant
buttons, etc.) and set motor speed limits based on the CATALYS® workflow.
Limitations during device operation
: The MPB must be used within the specified operating dis-
tance of the connected CATALYS® System or the wireless connection will automatically disconnect
and the MPB will revert to its disconnected functionality.
