• Concave-up point threshold
Is specifies the maximum angle (measured from the Start Final Angle) for the residual torque
when a the residual torque is lower than the breakaway point.
The default value for the Concave-up point threshold is 20 degrees.
In the following example the residual torque is before the Concave-up point threshold and
thus is detected (normal condition for a residual torque test):
If the residual point is over the Concave-up point threshold, the breakaway point is
considered as the result of the test. In this case the Concave-up point threshold should be
increased to detect the proper residual point:
ignored and the
breakaway point is taken
as result.
