85-40-20 Belt Tensioner
85-40-21 Removal of the Belt Tensioner
1. Remove the v-ribbed belt - refer to Chapter 85-40-11.
2. Remove the Alternator - refer to Chapter 24-00-11.
3. Remove the screw from the tensioner [5].
4. Remove the tensioner.
85-40-22 Installation of the Belt Tensioner
1. Put the belt tensioner in position.
2. Install the screws – do not torque the screws.
3. Install the Alternator - refer to Chapter 24-00-12.
4. Install the V-ribbed belt - refer to Chapter 85-40-12.
5. Perform an engine ground run according to Chapter 71-00-03.
