05-10-00 Time Limits of engine model E4
The time limits below must be followed to obtain the max. service life of the E4
engine.
Every 600 operating hours:
 Replace the High Pressure pump – refer to Chapter 73-00-40
Every 1800 operating hours:
 Replace the Gearbox – refer to Chapter 85-10-10
 Overhaul/Replace the Engine - remove and reinstall engine in accordance with
the applicable Aircraft Maintenance Manual
 Replace the EECU after the TBO as stated in chapter 05-10-03
Every 5 years:
 Replace the V-Ribbed Belt – refer to Chapter 85-40-10
Recommended fuel filter replacement latest every 100 hours – refer to applicable Aircraft Maintenance
Manual.
05-10-01 Time Limits of engine model E4P
Every 300 operating hours:
 Replace the cylinder head – refer to Chapter 05-30-05
Every 600 operating hours:
 Replace the High Pressure Pump – refer to Chapter 05-20-11
 Replace the Turbo Charger assembly– refer to Chapter 05-30-03
 Replace the Gearbox – refer to Chapter 05-30-01
Every 1000 operating hours:
 Overhaul/Replace the Engine – remove and install the engine in accordance with
the applicable Aircraft Maintenance Manual
 Replace the EECU after the TBO as stated in chapter 05-10-03
Every 5 years:
● Replace the V-Ribbed Belt – refer to Chapter 85-40-10
Fuel filter recommended replacement latest every 100 hours – refer to applicable Aircraft Maintenance
Manual.
