Thermostat Opening Temperature:
Small Cooling Circuit without Radiator:
To prevent the system from to much coolant flowing through the vent line an orifice is
installed with an inner diameter of 2 mm (0.079 in) within the line between expansion tank
and radiator. If the line is small enough no orifices are necessary.
Cooling Circuit with optional Gearbox Oil Cooler:
In addition to the standard cooling circuit a Gearbox Oil-Water Heat Exchanger (HEX), which
is directly installed at the rear side of the gearbox, is integrated in the coolant circuit (see Fig.
01-13). The example for an acceptable standard cooling circuit (refer to Fig. 01-12) is only
extended by the gearbox HEX.
