3. Slide-in drive - installation and exchange
Slide-in drives can be installed and exchanged in system units with 2 or 5 PCI slots.
3.1 Installation procedure
• Disconnect the power supply to the Automation PC 620.
• Touch the housing or ground connection (not the power supply!) in order to discharge any
electrostatic charge from your body.
• Remove the side cover, see section 5 "Mounting the side cover", on page 531.
• Remove the slide-in dummy module.
• Insert the slide-in drive.
• Attach the side cover.
