Code 20379: “LDM 1-2 – heatsink rectifier temperature sensor open”
Situation Solution
Malfunction LDM board Replace the LDM board. See service procedure “Replacing a driver board
in an LDM unit”, page 48.
Code 20383: “LDM 1-2 – Heatsink drain temperature too high”
For this error the same troubleshooting table can be applied to as for code 20377: “LDM 1-2 – Heatsink
rectifier temperature too high”.
Code 20384: “LDM 1-2 – Heatsink drain temperature sensor shorted”
For this error the same troubleshooting table can be applied to as for code 20378: “LDM 1-2 – Heatsink
rectifier temperature sensor shorted”.
Code 20385: “LDM 1-2 – Heatsink drain temperature sensor open”
For this error the same troubleshooting table can be applied to as for code 20379: “LDM 1-2 – Heatsink
rectifier temperature sensor open”.
Code 20386: “LDM 1-2 – Bad Communication”
Situation Solution
Difference in software
packages.
Upgrade the software. See procedure “Software update via Communicator
(DC update companion)”, page 249.
There are other
communication errors,
including LDM 1
communication errors.
Solve LDM 1 communication errors first.
There are several LDM 1–x
communication errors
• Make sure that all LDM boards are properly seated in the LDM case.
• If problem persists, replace the LDM. See service procedure “Replacing
a Laser Drive Module”, page 56.
Code 20387: “LDM 1-2 – No Communication”
Situation Solution
First install of Laser Driver

Upgrade the software. See procedure “Software update via Communicator
(DC update companion)”, page 249.
