8. Reconnect all wiring to the Phosphor Wheel interconnection board (reference 1).
9. Use the necessary amount of cable ties to lock the wiring and tubing in its place.
7.16 Replacing the phosphor wheel
CAUTION: You cannot replace the phosphor wheel without also removing the combiner unit.
Please first read and complete the combiner unit replacement procedure before attempting this
procedure. For more info, see “Replacing the combiner of the Light Source”, page 77.
Required tools
• Allen wrench 4 mm
• Torx screwdriver T20
How to remove the phosphor wheel
1. Remove the combiner unit. See “Replacing the combiner of the Light Source”, page 77.
2. Remove the four hex screws, holding the phosphor wheel onto the rest of the light source. Use a 4 mm Allen
wrench.
