E.1 Interface assignment
The interface is used to realize the communication within a CANopen ring or to communicate
with the b
maXX
®
BM1000 via Modbus.
In addition the interface can be used as a power supply for external devices, e.g. communication
modules.
E.2 Terminating plug for CANopen
The b maXX
®
BM1000 must be equipped with a termination plug BM4-CAN-T01 (according
CIA Standard 120 Ω, 0.25 W) if the device is the last participant within the CANopen network,
see
ZAccessories CANopen– on page 136.
