8ERROR DETECTION AND TROUBLE-
SHOOTING
In this chapter the error messages of the device are described: Error- and warning messages,
their meanings and how you can react.
8.1 Safety instructions

8.2 Requirements to the executing personnel
The personnel, who works with the b maXX
®
device, must be introduced in the safety instruc-
tions and in the operation of the device and must be familiar with the accurate operating of the
device. Especially the reaction to failure indications and -conditions requires special knowledge,
which the operator must have.
8.3 Error information
The b maxx
®
1000 has a comprehensive fault diagnostic system that includes several different
alarms and fault messages. Once a fault is detected, the corresponding protective functions will
be activated. The following faults are displayed as shown on the device digital keypad display.
The five most recent faults can be read from the digital keypad or communication.
NOTE
Wait 5 seconds after a fault has been cleared before performing reset via keypad of input ter-
minal.
