- “FDA positively engaged” – upper most (rear) position.
Positive engagement is carried out by toothed coupling 13, which while moving over
shaft splines, meshes with the inner teeth of gear 9 and, connecting it directly to shaft 5,
blocks the free travel coupling. In case of positive engagement lock ball 6 (figure 3.10.10)
is in the lower slot of link 4. Use this mode only in cases of constant slipping of the rear
wheels and when reversing, when engagement of the FDA is required.
1 - pin; 2 - fork; 3 - locknut; 4 - link; 5 - bracket; 6 – lock ball; 7 - lever; 8 – guide;
9 – spring; 10 – transfer box; 11 - lever.

canopy base on the basis of a small cabin
Control of toothed coupling 13 (figure 3.10.9) is carried out by link 4 (figure 3.10.11)
through handle 7 and lever 9. Strut 6 is secured to the floor and has three slots, and there
is stop 5 on link 4, by means of which the link is locked in the slot of strut 6.
Handle 7 of the FDA drive control has three fixed positions:
- “FDA off” – lower most position. Switching off of the free travel coupling is carried out
when coupling 13 (figure 3.10.9) is disengaged from the toothed crown of inner ring 7. In
this case stop 5 (figure 3.10.11) of link 4 is in the lower slot of strut 6. Use the “FDA off”
mode for hauling operations when driving on hard-surface roads.
