6.2 Providing access to tractor components for technical maintenance
6.2.1 Providing access to tractor components for technical maintenance of tractors
with metal hood 80-8400005.
Before starting technical maintenance, it is required to remove the monocyclone,
raise and lock hood 1 (figure 6.2.1), which is fixed at the front of the tractor by means of
hinge joints.
To remove the monocyclone, pull it upwards.
To raise hood 1, do the following:
- push the lever of lock 2 away, to release the lock off the fixture;
- raise hood 1 to extreme upper position and make sure it is securely held in the
open position: spring-loaded sector 4 shall stop center pin 5 of hood 1 in the area of upper
shaped groove of sector 4.
WARNING: BEFORE STARTING TECHNICAL MAINTENANCE IN THE AREA
UNDER THE HOOD, MAKE SURE IT IS SECURELY FIXED IN THE OPEN POSITION!
To lower hood 1 do the following:
- slightly raise it to release center pin 5 from the area of upper shaped groove of
sector 4;
- push sector 4 forward along tractor movement and lower hood 1 to its lowest posi-
tion;
- press the rear side of hood 1 down until you hear a typical click (actuation of
lock 2).
When lowering hood 1 make sure the side panels of the hood have been inserted in
the area between grips 3.
