9.2 Tractor towing
Tractor towing is allowed at a speed of not more than 10 km/h to a distance of up to
5 km.
Before starting tractor towing, do the following:
- set the GB range and speed shifting lever to the “Neutral” position;
- set the handle to switch between rear PTO continuous and ground-speed drive to
the Neutral position;
- set the rod to engage semi-continuous side PTO to the Neutral position.
In order to connect a towing rope on tractors with no ballast weights there is a tow-
ing shackle located on tractor front beam.
In order to connect a towing rope on tractors with ballast weights attached there is a
towing shackle located on the ballast weights.
THE TOWING SHACKLE SHALL NOT BE USED TO LIFT THE TRACTOR.
ATTENTION: DURING TRACTOR TOWING, IT IS STRICTLY REQUIRED TO OB-
SERVE TRAFFIC REGULATIONS!
