2.25 Pilot lamps unit of tractors with dashboard with molded panel
Pilot lamps unit 4 (figure 2.24.1) includes three lamps. The diagram of pilot lamps
layout is shown in figure 2.25.1
1 – pilot lamp of air cleaner filter max. clogging (orange color); 2 – pilot lamp of
emergency oil pressure drop in the HSC system (red color); 3 – pilot lamp-indicator of heat-
ing plugs operation (orange color).

The operation principle of PLU pilot lamps is as follows:
- pilot lamp of air cleaner filter max. clogging 1 (figure 2.25.1) lights up when maxi-
mum level of air filter clogging is exceeded and its cleaning is required;
- pilot lamp 2 of emergency oil pressure drop in the HSC system lights up when oil
pressure in the HSC hydraulic system drops below 0,08 MPa (recurrent lighting up of lamp
2 is permissible at minimum engine speed – when engine speed increases lamp 2 has to
go out). With the HPS installed instead of the HSC on tractors “BELARUS- 80.1/82.1” pilot
lamp 2 is not available;
- pilot lamp-indicator of heating plugs operation 3 indicates heating plugs operation
(algorithm of pilot lamp-indicator of HP operation is given below).
