4.2.4 Tractor stop
To stop the tractor, do the following:
- decrease engine RPM;
- fully depress the clutch pedal;
- set the GB range and gear shifting lever into neutral position;
- release the clutch pedal;
- stop the tractor using service brakes;
- engage the parking brake.
ATTENTION: FOR TRACTOR EMERGENCY STOP, SIMULTANEOUSLY YANK
THE CLUTCH AND BREAK PEDALS!
4.2.5 Engine stop
ATTENTION: BEFORE STOPPING THE ENGINE, LET IT RUN FIRST AT MIDDLE
AND THEN AT LOW IDLE RPM FOR 3 TO 5 MINUTES IN ORDER TO REDUCE COOL-
ANT AND OIL TEMPERATURE!
To stop the engine, do the following:
- set the rear PTO control lever into “Disengaged” position, and set the handle to
switch rear PTO from ground-speed to continuous mode (if ground-speed mode is en-
gaged) into neutral;
- set the rod of side semi-continuous PTO control into position “disengaged”;
- lower implement to the ground;
- shift the control handles for the hydraulic lift linkage distributor into neutral position;
- turn off the heater fan;
- pull the engine stop handle;
- turn the key of the starter and instruments switch from position I into 0;
- if continuous mode of rear PTO is engaged, set the handle of rear PTO switching
from continuous to ground-speed drive into “neutral” position;
- if the engine is stopped for a long time, deactivate the accumulator battery.
ATTENTION: FOR EMERGENCY ENGINE STOP, PULL THE ENGINE STOP
HANDLE!
4.2.6 Leaving the tractor
Leave the tractor through its left door, except for emergency situations. On tractors
with canopy frame or canopy base, leave the working place through the tractor’s left side.
Rules on leaving the tractor at emergency situations are given in paragraph 4.5.3 of subsec-
tion 4.5 “Emergency actions”.
When leaving the tractor make sure that all actions, listed in subsection 4.2.5 “En-
gine stop” have been performed, and that lift linkages of the tractor and of coupled imple-
ments have been lowered.
