6.4.6.4 Operation 71. Check and adjustment of fixer fuel injection advance angle
If the engine start is troubled or there is fume exhaust, as well as when replacing,
mounting fuel pump after checking it on a stand after 2000 hours of tractor operation or
repair works of the engine, make sure to check the fixer fuel injection advance angle of the
engine.
For engine D-243, the fixer fuel injection advance angle shall make 20±1 degrees of
crankshaft turn to the top dead center.
For engine D-243С with fuel pump РР4М10U1f-3478, the fixer fuel injection ad-
vance angle shall make 16±1 degrees of crankshaft turn to the top dead center.
For engine D-243С with fuel pump 4УТНИ-11110007-620, the fixer fuel injection
advance angle shall make 18±1 degrees of crankshaft turn to the top dead center.
ATTENTION: TO CHECK AND ADJUST FIXER FUEL INJECTION ADVANCE AN-
GLE ON THE ENGINE, CONTACT YOUR DEALER! CHECK AND ADJUSTMENT OF
FIXER FUEL INJECTION ADVANCE ANGLE ON THE ENGINE SHALL BE CARRIED
OUT ONLY BY QUALIFIED SPECIALISTS!
