Furthermore, the Teach procedure can also be automated – the automatic Teach functions (Autotune func-
tions) programmed for this purpose are described in detail in the following chapters.

(e.g.single-actingordouble-actingactuators,double-seatvalves,etc.)andforvariousstartingpositionsof
theprocessvalves(open,closed)-theautomaticTeachfunction(Autotune)beingusedmustbeselected
according to the process valve type and application.
