About this Manual
This manual is for engineers who need to install or configure M-Series control panels. The
manual gives an introduction to the features of the panels, provides general engineering
guidelines for planning an installation, and provides full details of the engineer's menu options.
A full list of engineer menu options, their positions within the menu hierarchy and brief details of
how to use the options is given in the Quick Reference on page 126.
Other Publications
For detailed connection information, please refer to the appropriate Installation Instructions.
Separate installation instructions are provided for each control panel and peripheral device.
For details of how to use the panel's user options, please refer to the Manager's Manual.
The User's Guide provides details of how to set, unset and reset the alarm system and is
intended for end users.
