Prerequisites
1. Follow the procedure in before working inside your computer.
2. Remove the solid state drive carrier.
3. Remove the batteries.
4. Remove the base cover.
5. Remove the express-card reader.
6. Remove the smart-card reader.

Steps
1. Remove the two (M2x3) screws that secure the smart-card and express-card reader bracket to the computer chassis.
2. Lift and remove the smart-card and express-card reader bracket from the computer chassis.
