7.6.1.3 Software
The following modules or UDTs are required to address the AST40 sequence controller by
means of the Profibus or Profinet:
Module Name Description
FB12 AST40
Control module for the AST40 sequence controller
This module must be loaded for every AST40 sequence controller
(with each new instance data block respectively)
DB20 IDB_AST40DP Instance data block for FB12 (e.g. Profibus)
DB21 AST40_Interface Data block for the transfer parameters for the FB12
DB22 IDB_AST40PN Instance data block for FB12 (e.g. Profinet)
UDT21 AST40_Control Data structure of the control signals
UDT22 AST40_State Data structure of the status signals
UDT23 AST40_Data Data structure of the screw data
