7.6 Connection on a master controller via the Fieldbus (optional)
7.6.1 Profibus DP / Profinet
The device files for the Profibus, Profinet, EtherCAT and EtherNet/IP can be downloaded
through the AST40 sequence controller's web interface (see 10.3.6.3 Fieldbus)
7.6.1.1 General Information
All the required program modules to connect the Profibus and Profinet to a Siemens S7 –
control unit can be found in the software package DEPRAG_AST40PNDP.zip.
IMPORTANT
The modules must only be used for S7 – control units with an integrated
Profibus master or Profinet interface.
