3.3 SWITCHING THE INSTRUMENT ON
After the installation described in the previous paragraph, it is possible to perform the first switching on
of the instrument by doing the following:
- First, make sure that the on-off switch (see fig. 5) is positioned down, with the indicator “O”
protruding, while the indicator “I” has to be positioned inwards.
- Make sure that the power outlet available in the laboratory supplies a tension with the
characteristics specified in 1.5.2.
- Connect the network cable on one side to the power outlet located on the backside of the
Chorus (see fig. 5) and the other on the available network outlet.
- Move the on-off switch and bring it to the on position: the indicator “I” protruding, while the
indicator “O” has to be inwards.
- Wait for the instrument to start the initial automatic check procedure, as described in the
following paragraph.
For subsequent switching on and off it is enough to move the on-off switch, without removing the
network cable.
