5.3 ANALYTIC EVALUATIONS
Determining the final test result (titration) is based on the mathematical processing, by dedicated
algorithms, of the six optical densities (OD1 to OD6) that were detected in the respectively optical
channels (Ch1 to Ch6) in three different times (t1, t2 and t3) of the kinetics of the reaction, which
represent how the color of the solutions, that are reacting in well 5 or 6 of the strip, changes.
The analytical routines are defined in the file of the methods that is installed on the instrument and
which can be updated. This description refers to the file of the methods, release 1010.
The typical trend of the increasing kinetics is shown in the fig. 108.
