5.3.7.2 Quality control with direct index
After determining
OD
QC
= OD3 – OD1
Calculate index:
• I
QC
= OD
QC
/ OD
cal
•
And make sure that :
•
I
upper
≥ I
QC
≥ I
lower
Where the limits I
upper
e I
lower
are contained in the QC barcode.
If I
QC
is within the limits, the QC is accepted; otherwise, it is rejected and in the final report the warning
sign “ ! “ is printed .
The index of the QC compared to the calibrator, and the indication of positive/negative/doubtful
(P/N/D) are supplied.
5.3.7.3 Sample dosing with reverse index
The sample dosing routine with reverse index foresees that, after determining
OD
sample
,= OD3 – OD1
• The index is calculated:
• I
sample
= OD
cal
/ OD
sample
• And the result is supplied as follows:
if I
sample
>
1,2 Positive
if I
samplemp
<
0,8 Negative
if 1,2 ≥ I
sample
≥ 0,8 Doubtful
5.3.7.4 Quality control with reverse index
After determining
OD
QC
= OD3 – OD1
Calculate index:
• I
QC
= OD
cal
/ OD
QC
And verify whether:
•
I
upper
≥ I
QC
≥ I
lower
• Where the limits I
upper
e I
lower
are contained in the QC barcode.
If I
QC
is within the limits, the QC is accepted; otherwise, it is rejected and in the final report the warning
sign “!“ is printed .
The index of the QC compared to the calibrator, and the indication of positive/negative/doubtful
(P/N/D) are supplied.
