• With the exception of session inactivity monitoring, any related communications
protocol control (i.e., character echoing) will be performed by the device connected to
the Gateway port.
• Third party software utilized to communicate with Gateway connected device will
need to first logon to the LMS1000 and enter the CONNECT command.
The LMS1000 will not support any third party proprietary communications protocol
required to communicate with customer equipment connected to the Gateway port.
