23-10-01 VHF Whip Antenna
The VHF whip antenna is installed in the front part of the
bottom fuselage cover. A "RG 50" coaxial cable is guided
along the steel tube frame and connects this whip antenna
directly to the respective transceiver.
Removal/Installation
1 Assure the BATTERY switch is OFF
2 Remove the front seat as per chapter 25.
3 Disconnect the coaxial cable from the antenna.
4 Remove the antenna attachment nut and the lock washer.
5 Remove the antenna and the O-ring.
6 Install in reverse sequence of removal. Assure, antenna
points aft when installed.
