and dust cap. This port transmits optical signals for loss and
length measurements.
The LED below the output port is red when the port transmits
1310 nm and green for 1550 nm.
WCaution
Do not connect APC (angled physical contact) connectors to
the output ports. Doing so can damage the port’s UPC endface
and cause unreliable test results.

below the connector shows the locator’s mode.

Micro USB port: This USB port lets you connect the tester to a
PC so you can upload test results to the PC and install
software updates in the tester.
