4.) Right-click and select Restart to resume print job/s for printing, as required
3-9-4-4 Configuration of Peripherals on the SafeLock Cart
General Guidelines
1.) In Standby mode, no change should be made to USB-connected devices (regarding location,
introduction of new USB device, removal of a currently-connected USB device).
2.) USB devices should be connected and/or disconnected only in Full Shutdown or Normal Scanning
mode.
3.) USB devices should not be connected and/or disconnected before completion of tasks assigned to
them.
4.) Whenever the Vivid i n and Vivid q N ultrasound scanner is mounted on the SafeLock Cart, always
use the lower USB port for the Hub.
5.) The Vivid i n and Vivid q N ultrasound scanner and all connected devices working with scanner
should be powered and connected to the SafeLock Cart (only)!
For the SafeLock Cart, there are two basic peripheral configurations that are recommended:
Configuration - Recommendation 1
DVD always plugged into port 1 of the USB Hub
MOD always plugged into any port (recommended Port 2)
HP460 always plugged into any port (recommended Port 3)
B&W or Color printer (recommended Port 4)
Configuration - Recommendation 2
Memory Stick or HP460+Batt plugged directly into the upper USB port on the rear of the Vivid i n
and Vivid q N ultrasound scanner.

When using Peripherals on the Vivid i n and Vivid q N SafeLock Cart, always observe the general
guidelines listed below.
