7. If the four-wheel drive indicator light fails to come on:
(1). Bulb and bulb socket
• Check the bulb and bulb socket for continuity.
CONTINUITY
(2). four-wheel drive indicator light relay
• Remove the four-wheel drive indicator light
relay from the wire harness.
• Connect the pocket tester (Ω × 1) and the
battery (12 V) to the four-wheel drive indicator
light relay terminals.
• Check the four-wheel drive indicator light relay
for continuity as follows.

Replace the bulb and/or bulb socket.

Replace the gear motor.
