Use as needed
Connecting a 1-port T1 cable
The two ends of the 1-port T1 cable are RJ45 connectors. Connect one end of the cable to the T1
connector (RJ45) of the interface module and the other end of the cable to the T1 connector (RJ45)
on the remote device.
Connecting a 4/8-port T1 cable
1. Connect the D68 connector of the 4/8-port T1 cable to the D68 interface on the interface
module and fasten the bolts to secure the cable.
2. Connect the other end to the RJ45 interface on the remote device as needed.

Connecting the cable
1. Connect the SMB connector on one end of an E3/T3 cable to the Tx port on the interface
module and the other end of the cable to the Rx port on the device to be connected.
2. Connect the SMB connector of another E3/T3 cable to the Rx port on the interface module and
the other end of the cable to the Tx port on the device to be connected;
3. Check the LINK LED on the module panel. It is off when a fault has occurred on the link and the
signal is out of synchronization. In this case, check the link.
