8 Troubleshooting
8.1 Introduction
Warning
Troubleshooting must be handled by competent personnel, properly trained with the
procedures described in this manual: any missing or different execution of the described
procedures can cause damage to the autosampler or to the person working on it.
However, in particular, pay attention to the moving parts such as the sledge, syringe, needle
etc...
Wrong operations could cause damage to the syringe and/or to the autosampler.
Warning
Some parts of the autosampler (oven, syringe, needle or vials) can work at high
temperatures. Be careful to avoid burns. Allow these parts to cool down before handling
them.
The list of the possible errors generated by the autosampler are summarized in this chapter.
If the solutions given do not solve the problem, please contact your Supplier or the Technical
Assistance Centre.
Before calling the Technical Assistance Centre please check that:
all instructions were carefully followed;
• all the options listed were tried;
• all cables are connected correctly.
