3.7.1 Vial capping (Crimping Cap)

You must have a crimper available. Fit the septum on the cap, then:
Clean the inside surfaces of the crimper jaws.
Place the crimp cap over the top of the vial.
Hold the vial and place the crimper on top of it. Squeeze the handle until it touches the
adjuster screw.
Check each vial for proper crimping. Correct crimp features:
flat cap surface;
flat septa surface;
tight fitting of the cap edge;
plain and undeformed cap sides.
